The Speaker of the Northern Ireland Assembly Shares a Message on Youth Assembly Recruitment – Transcript

The tenure of our existing Youth Assembly has come to an end. I just want to say thank you to all of the young people who participated so valiantly in that and stated their case so well over the period of that Youth Assembly. And today, new nominations have come in for 90 new members of the Youth Assembly.

So after a rigorous process and random selection, we have come forward with 90 names. So congratulations to each and every one of you who will be being notified over the course of the next few hours and days that you’re part of the new Youth Assembly. I wish you well in it and I hope that you come and articulate your cases and your causes and it may give you a flavour for life of politics.
