After a well-deserved summer break, we’re excited to share that applications for the third Youth Assembly Mandate (2025–2027) go live next week! This newsletter has everything you need to know about the upcoming application process and how you, or a young person you know, can get involved.

Essential Information

 
    • 📅Applications: The link will go live on Monday 8 September and close at midnight on Monday 29 September.
 
    • 👥Who can apply: Anyone in school years 9-12 who lives in Northern Ireland can apply. We welcome applications from all backgrounds, communities, and abilities – your voice matters. If you have already been a Youth Assembly Member, you cannot apply again.
 
    • 📝How to apply: You can apply online through our website once the application is live. Just complete the form.  It should take no more than 10 minutes. Please only complete the form only once. If you need support with your application, please get in touch via email [email protected]. 
 

Key Dates 

 

    • 📅 Applications open: Monday 8 September 
    • ❌ Application deadline: Monday 29 September (midnight)
    • 📩 Final selection: All applicants will be notified if they have been successful or not by Friday 9 October
    • 🗣️ First meeting: Saturday 1 November, Parliament Buildings, Belfast
