Big Youth Survey - The results are in!
Thank you to everyone who took part in the Big Youth Survey in December 2025. Nearly 1700 young people from across Northern Ireland have shared their views on the issues that matter most to them, and the top 11 issues have now been identified. These are:
- Health (mental and physical)
- Education
- Addiction
- Rights and equality
- Racism
- Artificial Intelligence
- Jobs
- Environment
- Immigration
- Economy
- Agriculture
These issues will be debated by Youth Assembly Members at the next Youth Assembly plenary, and Members will select the top three priority issues for the Youth Assembly’s new mandate. These priorities will shape the Youth Assembly’s work and campaigning for 2025–2027.
Your voice has directly influenced what the Northern Ireland Youth Assembly will focus on over the next two years. The issues raised through the survey will guide discussions, policy engagement, and action on behalf of young people.
Thank you for being part of positive change for young people across Northern Ireland!
